When I spotted a Bluebird in our yard in the spring of 2020, I asked my husband, David, if he would build some bluebird houses. He built several of the basic bluebird house you see in the Conservation magazines. Then due to the Pandemic and the stay-at-home order issued, this guy got busy designing and building all kinds of Birdhouses. The Wonky house was the first uniquely designed birdhouse creation and wouldn't you know it, The Wonky House is THE one the BLUEBIRDS picked!! Our's hangs right off our back patio! Despite being a crazy world out there, it has been a summer of enjoyment watching God's beautiful little birds!

***Dimensions: 7" W x 7" D x 10 1/2" H, plus eye hook. Weighs: 1.4 lb Bird hole entrance: 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" (let us know if you have preference of hole size)

***Clean- out opening on bottom of birdhouse. Remove 2 screws. Drainage holes included.

Other small birds will enjoy this house as well: wrens, chickadees, and downy woodpeckers are some examples!

***Cedar will naturally hold up to the weather just fine as is. It does darken, but ages gracefully. If you desire to stain or varnish the exterior, you certainly may.
