OUR STORY- When I spotted a Bluebird in our yard in the spring of 2020, I asked my husband if he would build some bluebird houses. He built several of the basic bluebird house you see in the Conservation magazines. Being a Carpenter by trade and on the verge of retirement from his Construction business, when the stay at home order was issued due to the pandemic, this guy got busy designing and building all kinds of Birdhouses and Feeders!
The Wonky house was the first uniquely designed birdhouse creation and wouldn’t you know, the Wonky House is THE one the BLUEBIRDS picked!! Ours hangs right off our back patio! Despite it being a crazy world out there (pandemic and all), it was a summer where watching God’s beautiful little birds brought a sense of peace to our lives….
After building and giving away 40 or so little Birdhouses to family and friends, I said, “I think we could sell these! Let’s start an ETSY store! So on to the drawing board for another Idea! The “Pavilion” Bird Feeder was his next creation….

Our Story, (cont’d)…After 40+ years as a Carpenter in the Construction field, what a joy it has been to see my husband’s creative side shine through- I knew he was skilled, but what fun it is to see him bring to life an idea in his head and then to see the enjoyment others get from owning one of his pieces in their home, yard, or garden! Etsy has given us the opportunity to share this across the country! Our Large Owl House is our Best Seller, tying closely with our Large Pavilion Bird Feeder. We have loved being connected with our customers through our Etsy shop.
