What I love: The cute little framed window with grid which overlooks the porch with railing allowing room for a sprinkle or two of birdseed. Note the 4 compartments, allowing multiple bird families a place to call home. I also love the etched layered roof and the fact that one roof line is perpendicular to the other two. And the gabled roofs hang over the bird’s entrance holes, keeping their heads dry. It’s super cute!

Handcrafted from Cedar, this functional yet decorative Birdhouse will be a beautiful addition to your Yard or Garden. Cozy and ventilated for your feathered friends, this house will provide them protection from the elements.

Cedar will naturally hold up to the weather just fine as is. It does darken over time, but ages gracefully. If, however, you desire to stain or varnish it, you certainly may. We do recommend you search for something safe for the birds.

This listing is for the Birdhouse only, no post or stand is included. Ideally, this Birdhouse is designed to screw down to the top of a 4 x 4 post. You could also use some L-shaped hardware brackets which you attach to the side of a 4 x 4 post and bottom of house. However, if you desire to have us attach a wooden mounting box/sleeve to the bottom of the house, we can do that for an additional charge of $20.
