Handcrafted from Cedar, this functional, yet decorative Bird Feeder will be a beautiful addition to your Yard or Garden! Cedar will naturally hold up to the weather just fine as is. It does darken, but ages gracefully. If, however, you desire to stain or varnish it, you certainly may but we have not found anything that would be super safe for the bird’s seed area.

***This listing is for the Timber Frame style Bird Feeder only. No post or stand is included. Ideally, this feeder is designed to screw down to the top of a deck rail or to the top of a 4x4 post as it is lighter weight. You could also use some L-shaped hardware brackets which you could attach to the side of a 4x4 post and bottom of feeder.
